• 180 Grit is used to shape and sand body filler and refine the 80 grit scratches in the filler
• 320 Grit is used to shape and sand glaze or spot putty prior to priming
• 400 Grit is used to refine 320 grit scratches in primer
• 600 Grit is used for sanding primer and scuffing the blend area prior to painting
• 800 Grit is used to scuff the blend area prior to painting
